Stone masonry is stronger, sturdy, and warm weather-resistant than brick masonry. This material has been a testament to withstand the ages of time and wear and tear from the elements. Many ancient buildings from thousands of years ago were built with stone and still exist today.

Master stonemasons are experts in their craft and have gone through specific steps to earn their rank. They need to learn the basic requirements necessary to be a stonemason, apprentice under a master, work as a journeyman for a specific period of time and only then, will they earn the rank of master stonemason.

Stone is more durable, strong, and weather-resistant than Brick. Bricks are available in regular shape and size. We can use them with a certain pattern known as brick bonds. But, in stone masonry, no definite patterns are possible due to their dissimilar shape and size.
